Nine Kia models earned a spot on the 2023 Car and Driver Editors’ Choice Awards list, representing excellence in automotive design. These model year 2023 vehicles included the Sportage, Sorento, Carnival, Niro Hybrid and PHEV, K5, Soul, Rio, EV6, and Telluride. The awards are selected from more than 400 cars tested by Car & Driver editors. COO & EVP of Kia America expressed his honor at the recognition their vehicles have earned. This accolade follows the 2023 Kia EV6 and 2023 Kia Telluride's placement on Car & Driver's 10Best Trucks and SUVs list, as well as the North American Utility Vehicle of the Year™ award for the EV6 from the North American Car of the Year jury. Car & Driver based their criteria for selection on instrumented testing results, editor evaluations, how well each car fulfills its intended mission, and market segment rankings compared to competitors.
