KIA AMERICA COMPLETES BEST RETAIL SALES YEAR IN COMPANY HISTORY
• Kia America had its best December sales ever, with 60,422 units sold• This is 11.2% higher than the previous record set in 2016 and 25% higher than last year
• Kia also had its best fourth quarter performance ever, selling 654,554 units total for the year (1.7% increase from last year)
• Sportage, Seltos, Telluride, Niro, Soul, Sorento and Carnival all saw double- or triple-digit sales increases compared to December of last year
• Sales of Kia’s electrified offerings increased by 142% over the same period last year
• The brand made several significant announcements in December: Kelley Blue Book Best Buy Awards named three Kia models as category winners; Motor1.com 2022 Star Awards named the 2023 Sportage Hybrid Best SUV; IIHS recognized the 2023 EV6 as a TOP SAFETY PICK+
