We have been fielding a ton of questions recently about the all-new, retooled 2014 Kia Soul here at Kia of Waldorf. And rightfully so, because the model is not only looking better than ever, its performing better than ever before as well. But there's one piece of news about the model that doesn't come up in normal showroom conversation, and that is the fact that the Soul will be available with an optional SUV styling Pack in European markets.
Drawing design inspiration from the Kia Concept model entitled the Track'ster, this SUV styling package will utilize a number of stylish features to create a very bold and modern look. There is matte-black cladding on both the front and rear fenders for a nice contrast with the rest of the finish. There is also piano-black trim on the wheel wells, side skirts, and three options for roof color; black, red or white.
However, unfortunately for our Waldorf area Kia Soul fans, it does not appear as though this SUV styling pack will be coming to the States anytime soon.
Kia Motors Spokesperson James Hope had this to say about the stylish optional gear,"[Kia] has no plans to offer something similar to the EU-spec Soul at this time. However, we are always monitoring the market and if we saw an opportunity we would certainly look into it."1
