Set to go on sale in the fourth quarter of this model year, the all new 2014 Kia Soul has been garnering a ton of attention both here in our own Waldorf, MD area, but nationally as well. And there is now more exciting news to announce about the model, as Kia has released that the Soul will be available in three trim levels, the Base, Plus, and Exclaim, with the base coming in with a budget-friendly MSRP of only $14,700!

When the Soul, which Kia has designed as mainly an urban vehicle, first went on sale in 2009, it was initially met with great reviews for its drivability and high levels of interior space and utility. But just because something is good, does not mean there is not improvement still. This year's version will come along with additional premium comfort and technology features, to go along with largely improved aerodynamics on the exterior.

The base model comes equipped with Hill-Start Assist Control, a rack-ready roof, air condition, power features, Bluetooth, and satellite radio, and the trims only become more capable from there with options like keyless entry and arm rests with cup holders.

Michael Sprague, Executive Vice President of Marketing and Communications at KMA had this to say about the appealing and affordable model, "With a starting price below $15,000, the outstanding value customers have come to expect with the Soul remains firmly intact. What will come as a pleasant surprise is the level of refinement and sophistication the 2014 Soul brings to the segment at such an appealing price point."1
