Like a lot of the models included in this innovative new 2014 Kia new model line, the Sportage was not technically due for a redesign, just a more standard mid-cycle refresh, but Kia really revamped the model with a ton of exciting upgrades on both the interior and exterior of the model.
The Sportage is actually Kia's longest running model, due to its high level of versatility, and customizability. Now, the model is available for the first time with a new engine underneath the hood, a 2.4-liter GDI Inline four engine, and the model is available in three separate trim levels now as well. The top level trim, the SX package, features a turbo charged engine beneath the hood.
