Recent moves by our favorite South Korean automaker, Kia, have seen the brand debut and market several new, sporty offerings across the pond in Europe under the GT moniker. We're head over heels for these new Kia vehicles, from their impressive features like LED lighting and leather interior to the electronic, folding side mirrors. We certainly hope these offerings make their way to Waldorf Kia, and recent whisperings have us thinking there's a pretty good chance it could happen.
The specific vehicle we're referring to is the Kia pro_cee'd GT, and it's a sexy, sporty three-door auto that launched first in the UK, and is expected to put up big numbers for the brand.
"If everything goes well and it's received warmly then we could spread the GT badge, and maybe see a GT version of the Rio as well,"1 says a Kia insider who was quoted by AutoEvolution, a UK car publication.
Though there are some potential snags - like the fact that the current, similar Rio offering will be three years old by the time the auto launches in early 2014 - we are simply hoping Kia has faith in its product and sends an impressive GT offering to us here in the states soon!
