Automobiles and wireless technologies are crossing paths, and online tech publications like Wired.com are beginning to take notice. Specifically, Wired.com Editor, Matt Blum recently reviewed three 2012 Kia models, with a special focus on what they offer to the tech-savvy consumer.

His findings? They were positive. In reviewing the 2012 Kia Rio, 2012 Kia Soul, and 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid, he found that each offered similar standard gadgets. To sum it up, they were...

-    A standard rear backup camera
-    In-dash displays of varying sizes
-    USB and Bluetooth connectivity for safely accessing and charging a Smartphone while driving
-    Incredible standard stereo systems

In testing each model for its "geek factor," Blum also got a taste of what Kia has to offer in a more conventional sense as well. Blum admits at the beginning of his review that he's never given much thought to the Kia lineup, but found himself thoroughly impressed with each model. He even noted that having to give back the Optima Hybrid at the end of his week testing was rather painful, and that he wanted to keep it for himself.

Overall, testing three new Kia models was a very positive experience for Tech Editor, Matt Blum.
