Kia has been on a hot streak as of late and it only continues in 2012 by the introduction of the second-generation UVO eService. After debuting at the 2012 Consumer Electrics Show, the eService promised a lot of add-ons, which compete not only with the telematics services offered by some of its closest competitors, but those offered by luxury brands as well.

One of the more significant improvements of the UVO eService just may be that the second-gen variant is compatible with smartphone technology. Henry Bzeih, explains, "With smartphone penetration nearing 50-percent in the U.S., UVO e Service extends our award-winning system's abilities for telematics. The development focus for UVO e Services was to deliver the connectivity, services, and notifications valued by vehicle owners while also adding safety features, diagnostic information and innovations such as our parked vehicle locator to create user-friendly experiences that exceed people's expectations."1 Kia of Waldorf would like to add that beyond the first-generation UVO eService hands-free capabilities (communication and entertainment management capabilities), users will also now be able to operate in-car navigation systems via simple voice activation.

What else does the forthcoming, second-gen UVO e-Service from Kia promise? A lot. To present all of the technology's features and benefits in what we believe is the most easy-to-digest format possible, Kia of Waldorf has compiled  a bulleted list below.

Second-Gen Kia UVO eService Features & Benefits include: Hands-free calling, hands-free access to music, hands-free navigation, crash notification assist, roadside assist, automatic vehicle diagnostics, manual vehicle diagnostics, scheduled vehicle diagnostics, vehicle maintenance reminders, eServices guide, trip info, virtual driving awards, send2Car, curfew limit, speed alert, geo fencing, car care Web and park assist.

As you can see, it's a crazy, long list.  If you're interested in learning more about each of the bulleted items' specific functions, feel free to contact Kia of Waldorf today.
